The trees have all withered
The skies have gone dark
The sun has lacked radiance
Moments have been ruined
Time has been wasted
Corners have been cut
The losses have been incurred
But hear this.....
That moment my eyes beared witness
To a sight captivating and alluring
That brought the rarest wonder to my ignorant eye
So much blessing I have received
To have witnessed such a fetching sight
Of a magnificent majestic prospect
A picture to which no display could compare
Not even the sun nor the moon
Could elucidate the intricacy of it's unfailing radiance
It's shimmer that unlike any could never be an irritant
This I observe in you
The glow that projects from those finely crafted eyes
The tenderness that remains a clear picture
The love that is likened to a finely polished scripture
Arms so wide the sea can never compare to
All this my soul forever yearns for
'Tis all that quenches my heart's thirst
Even when the world has crumbled and fallen
Shattered into immeasurable broken pieces
And all the cries from the world frightens our very soul
Audible to even the deaf and the long dead
When such has occurred
When hunger strikes, i will not desire a fine meal
When my throat is dry from thirst, even the finest wine will not suffice
When my body shivers from the cold, no garment could keep me warm
Only the luxury of your love,
The legitimacy of your promises,
The honour of your words,
Shall satisfy and block out the noise
And forever our world will remain the brightest of all worlds .
